We are independent JKA US organization official licensed by JKA HQ Japan. We are getting new friends every week. Please come join us for free trial class every Monday / Friday in Whittier Dojo and Wednesday in Temple City Dojo start @5:30pm.
JKA Los Angeles provides Japanese-style educational guidance including children's discipline and manners through karate guidance, and aims to complete a good personality with respect for courtesy. Also, we are not like other US Karate school but real traditional Japanese karate School and training method are all from from JKA Japan.

The foundation of our dojo is based on traditional Japanese philosophies. In Japan, the study of martial art is looked at as training for living life. The tenets of Dojo Kun are expected to be honored outside of the training hall. Physical, mental and spiritual aspects are all equally vital parts of the student and his training. Not only is the student required to work on improving techniques and developing new skills in the dojo, he is also expected to set high goals in other areas of life. Our dojo stresses the value of “educational karate” academic pursuits. a child’s self-discipline and ambition through martial arts in Los Angeles, CA.
In recognition of the students who improve in both JKA Los Angeles Karate and academics, Sensei will inscribe their belts with their names in Japanese characters. For special achievement, he may also inscribe the student’s GI.
This gesture is meant to express our wholehearted effort to develop Karate JKA Los Angeles students who are high achievers in every arena of life.
Under the instruction of Sensei, the Japan Karate Association Los Angeles has been in operation since 2018. Sensei teaches traditional Shotokan karate.
Shotokan is a true Japanese style of martial arts, emphasizing discipline and self-confidence in every student. This form of karate focuses on self-defense and the avoidance of dangerous situations. Physical training is enhanced by the benefits of spiritual growth and personal achievement.
An added bonus is that parents are allowed to participate in their child’s class, making karate a wonderful family activity.

The Japan Karate Association offers over twenty classes a week for people of all ages and all types of conditioning.
